Case Coordinator-Participant (Caloundra) – Making Early Years Count

BUSHkids is a not-for-profit organisation that has been at the heart of transforming lives of regional children across Queensland for 90 years. Our dedicated teams and volunteers are all driven by a shared vision that all Queensland children should have access to free allied health and early intervention services regardless of where they live.
As a Case Coordinator within our Participant stream at BUSHkids Caloundra, you will build confidence and capability in families of children under 9 years with an NDIS plan or eligible diagnosis. You will provide guidance and support from referral through to effective use of their child’s plan, connecting families with appropriate providers, community and mainstream supports aligned to their child’s goals. Working collaboratively with families you will support informed decision-making while monitoring progress and adjusting supports as needed as well as strengthening families’ confidence to navigate the NDIS and broader service systems. Our Participant stream team is an all of service team where your team members will be located across different regional locations.
This position has become available through a service redesign, and you will be supported by our ECA Workplace Trainer & Supervisors throughout your onboarding/training and ongoing supervision in the role to further support you. About you
We are seeking your experience working in a case coordination/management or similar roles within the community services sector either across Disability, Children, Youth/Family, Early Intervention working within highly regulated service environments.
We also require you to bring:
- Experience working with vulnerable families, with an understanding of the complexity and multiple barriers they may face in accessing services.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build professional networks and work collaboratively with other service providers.
- Flexible and adaptable nature who can maintain clear boundaries around scope of work in service delivery. This includes understanding of the NDIS, choice and control, and the principles of person-centred care.
- Proficient in MS Office suite and experience using CRM, data management, or case management systems.
- A practical, can-do attitude with a passion for children, families, and the community.
- Committed to ongoing professional development and willingness to share knowledge and skills with others.

- Valid Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance (or ability to obtain before commencement)
- Current C Class Driver’s Licence
- Evidence of Hepatitis B Vaccination status

- An attractive base remuneration up to $81,677 (based on qualifications and experience) plus superannuation, leave loading, and portable long service leave. A higher base salary may be negotiated with post graduate qualifications.
- Not-for-profit salary packaging up to $15,900 in tax savings per year plus $2,650 meal and entertainment allowance. This represents up to an additional $5,935 in your pay to cover essential living expenses on top of your base salary.
- Additional 3 days of gifted paid leave over the Christmas period.
