Cashier (Atc – Alabang, Muntinlupa City)

Position Overview:

We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented, and reliable Cashier to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for processing transactions, assisting customers, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. As a Cashier, you will play a key role in providing excellent customer service while ensuring efficient and accurate cash handling.

Key Responsibilities:

Customer Service:
Greet customers warmly, answer questions, and provide assistance in a friendly and professional manner. Address customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies.

Transaction Processing:
Accurately process sales transactions, including cash, credit/debit card payments, and mobile payments. Ensure all items are properly scanned and prices are correct.

Cash Handling:
Manage cash drawer, including making change, balancing the cash register, and ensuring no discrepancies. Follow company procedures for cash and payment processing.

Point of Sale (POS) System:
Operate POS system to scan items, apply discounts, and complete transactions efficiently. Troubleshoot basic system issues as needed.

Receipt Management:
Provide customers with receipts and handle returns/exchanges in accordance with store policies.

Maintain Cleanliness and Organization:
Keep the checkout area clean, tidy, and well-organized. Stock and restock registers with necessary supplies, including bags, receipts, and change.

Upselling and Promotions:
Actively promote store sales, special offers, and loyalty programs to customers. Suggest additional products to increase sales when appropriate.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members to ensure smooth store operations and contribute to a positive work environment.

Store Security:
Stay alert to potential security risks, such as shoplifting or fraudulent transactions, and report suspicious activity to the manager or security personnel.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Previous cashier or customer service experience is a plus but not required.
  • Technical Skills: Basic math skills; familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
  • Communication: Strong verbal communication skills; ability to interact with customers and team members effectively.
  • Attention to Detail: Ability to handle transactions accurately and with attention to detail.
  • Customer-Focused: Friendly and professional demeanor with a focus on providing an excellent customer experience.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for long periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php16,000.00 - Php18,000.00 per month
