About the role:
Gather by Cater Care is seeking an enthusiastic Casual Catering Assistant to join our friendly team at the Mount Eliza site.

This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced kitchen environment, perfect for someone with a positive, can-do attitude and a happy personality. You’ll be involved in meal preparation and service and helping to create a welcoming dining experience every day.

You’ll work alongside a supportive and inclusive team where your contribution is genuinely valued, making each shift varied, engaging, and rewarding.

Pay: $26 per hour + casual loading and penalty rates

Roster: Various days and hours; AM or PM shifts available

What this role involves:

• Assisting with food preparation and serving meals and snacks
• Providing excellent customer service with a smile
• Re-stocking items as needed and after meal periods
• Washing dishes and keeping kitchen and dining areas clean and safe
• Following all food safety and hygiene standards

Skills and Experiences:
The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience in food preparation and/or customer service
• A basic Food Handler’s Certificate
• A valid driver’s licence and own vehicle
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with a friendly and positive attitude
