Casual Mental Health Support Worker In Rockingham Area

Mental Health Support Worker Opportunity in Rockingham area:

We are looking for an experienced Mental Health Support Worker for a participant in Rockingham. Our client is a gentleman in his 60s who requires assistance with community access.

It is a 2-hour shift with potential for additional hours to increase.

***Support Worker must be in/near the Rockingham area and have working rights (Visas with working rights accepted)***

Practical Support Skills and experience required:

• Experience accompanying clients to community locations like shops and cafes
• Skill in navigating social environments while maintaining client comfort and independence
• Experience working with clients with Schizophrenia

Required Qualifications and Credentials:

• Extensive mental health support experience, particularly with Schizophrenia
• Current Police Clearance
• Working with Children Check
• Valid CPR and First Aid Certificate
• Current Driver's License
• Must have working rights (Visa with working rights accepted)
• Comprehensive Car Insurance
• Completed (or willingness to complete) NDIS orientation modules
• NDIS clearance check

***Pay rate is dependent on applicants experience***
