The roles, responsibilities and duties of a Security Officer can be performed in many different sectors and varying roles. This Position Description outlines the general duties in line with specific role types and acts as a guide rather than a comprehensive list of tasks.

About the role:

MSS Security is looking for casual Security Officers to work at the area of Shellharbour. The position is primarily responsible for providing security presence at the client site and to provide customer service to staff and visitors. Your duties will be, and not limited to:

Conduct foot patrols
Direct and help visitors and public to navigate around
Incident reporting
Communicate calmly and clearly with key stakeholders
Visitors sign in/induction and maintain key registers and issue key passes

About you:

The roles is being offered as a casual security officer within the Shellharbour region. We are looking for:

Certificate II in Security Operations and current First Aid certificate
Current NSW Security licence
Physically fit and able to walk and stand for prolonged periods
Nice Computer literacy skills
The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
