Category Manager/Brand Manager

About the role

The Category Manager will take the lead in managing the Third-Party Business Unit for Apple accessories and peripherals. This role is responsible for driving category growth, profitability, product strategy, and supplier coordination. The position requires a strong background in merchandising, sales analysis, and end-to-end product lifecycle management.

What you'll be doing

Sales & Profitability

  • Ensure sales targets and profitability are met for assigned categories.
  • Develop sales forecasts based on market trends and consumer demand.
  • Analyze category performance and sales patterns to support decision-making.
  • Review profit margins and recommend SRPs across the category.
  • Work closely with the Sales Team and Finance Team to align stock levels with demand.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual business reviews.

Product & Category Management

  • Develop category roadmap and provide direction for the Sales Team.
  • Recommend product purchases and manage the merchandise budget.
  • Support product launches and ensure effective communication with stores.
  • Source and introduce new products aligned with current market trends.
  • Manage product assortment, stock rotation, and product lifecycle.
  • Maintain minimum stock levels and ensure optimal MOS (Months of Stock).
  • Approve replenishment quantities and ensure product availability across branches.
  • Monitor store merchandising and conduct regular product audits.
  • Plan and execute sell-out and flush-out strategies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams for space planning and visual merchandising.
  • Oversee supplier contracts and manage external partnerships.

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in product or category management, preferably in electronics or retail.
  • Strong understanding of sales data, forecasting, and category performance analysis.
  • Excellent communication and supplier negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple priorities.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php30,000.00 - Php40,000.00 per month
