Catering Assistant

We are looking to hire dedicated and efficient Catering Assistants to assist in all activities pertaining to High Volume catering. The Catering Assistant's responsibilities include participating in all areas to promote the company's catering services, receiving and unloading deliveries, maintaining service stations, and refilling empty counters as required. You should also be able to maintain the General Hygiene of all catering equipment, dishes, and leftover food after Service have concluded.

To be successful as a Catering Assistant, you should demonstrate a sound knowledge of food health and safety regulations to ensure the safety of the Client. Ultimately, an outstanding Catering Assistant should be able to demonstrate exceptional communication skills and achieve excellent customer service at all times.

Catering Assistant Responsibilities:

• Performing basic food preparation tasks, which include washing, peeling, and cutting fruit and vegetables, seasoning and slicing meats, and preparing sauces and salads.
• Setting up Service areas per the Catering Manager's instructions.
• Ensuring all Service areas and serving dishes are properly cleaned and sanitized before/during each of the Service times.
• Loading and unloading food, tableware, and catering supplies.
• Appropriately storing clean Service dishes, tableware, plates and equipment after each Service.
• Answering clients' catering-related questions during service and addressing all complaints..
• Assisting in all duties related to customer satisfaction.
• Assist in Till operation.

Experience:

• HACCP: 1 year (preferred)
• manual handling
• Hospitality: 1 year (preferred)

Pay: €14.15-€15.50 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 35 per week
