About the Role:

WellFoods is looking for motivated, reliable and punctual catering assistants to join our team.

  • Permanent Position - 0630am-1500pm (days to be discussed)
  • Casual Positions - Must be flexible, shifts generally: 16.00pm-19.00pm or 0630am-1500pm

In this role you will be working as part of a large WellFood team, where you will be responsible for taking the meal and beverage orders directly from the patients, assembling meal trays and delivering these to the wards all whilst providing excellent customer service to our patients and their whānau.

To be successful in this role, you are required to have excellent customer service skills, be organised, get along with people and be adaptable to different situations. All training will be provided for candidates who do not have food handling experience.

Starting rate $27.80 per hour. Based on the E tū Service and Food Workers collective agreement.

  • Ability to be both a team player and work independently
  • Reliable, with good time management
  • Flexibility and a 'can do' attitude
  • Communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Warm, friendly approach and passionate about people
  • Previous experience as a Catering Assistant
