Catering Assistant – Temperzone Cafe, Mangere

Monday – Friday (5:45am until 2:15pm), 40 hours per week

Love food, people, and a busy café environment? Cater Plus is looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Catering Assistant to join our team at Temperzone Café.

This is a permanent, full time role, offering great work–life balance with no weekend work.

About the role
This position is a replacement role and plays an important part in supporting the day to day operations of the café. You’ll be working as part of a friendly and experienced team, helping deliver quality food and service to customers each day.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Assisting with food preparation and service
• Barista experience a bonus.
• Supporting café operations during busy service periods
• Operating POS and EFTPOS systems (training provided)
• Receiving and putting away stock and supplies
• Completing cleaning and dish duties to maintain a safe and tidy kitchen
• Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times

About you
You’ll be someone who:

• Has a positive attitude and enjoys working as part of a team
• Is reliable, organised, and able to work at pace
• Has previous experience in a café, catering, or food service environment (preferred)
• Has a good understanding of food safety and hygiene
• Takes pride in providing friendly and professional service
