Chief Accountant

Responsibilities

• Oversee the preparation of accurate and timely financial reports (monthly, quarterly, and annual).
• Ensure compliance with BIR, SEC, and other government regulatory requirements.
• Supervise accounting operations including general ledger, accounts receivable/payable, payroll, and treasury.
• Monitor and reconcile accounts to maintain accuracy and integrity of financial records.
• Support the Finance Manager in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Implement strong internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Lead, train, and develop accounting staff to ensure consistent standards across the group.
• Coordinate with auditors, banks, and external partners.
• Provide management with financial insights to support decision-making.

Qualifications

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – required.
• At least 8–10 years of progressive accounting/finance experience, with a minimum of 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS), taxation, and government compliance.
• Preferably with experience in a holding company or multi-company set-up.
• Proficient in ERP/SAP or other accounting systems.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php70,000.00 - Php80,000.00 per month
