Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Civil Engineering intern to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and managing various civil engineering projects. This role requires a strong foundation in engineering principles, project management, and technical writing skills. The Civil Engineer will work collaboratively with other professionals to ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate would have at least 2 years experience in similar roles. Bachelor's degree required from an ABET accredited university. MUST have already passed or scheduled their Fundamentals of Engineering Exam. Pay range (BOE) based on experience.

Duties

• Design and develop civil engineering projects including roads, water treatment facilities, and pipelines.
• Create project schedules and manage timelines to ensure efficient workflow.
• Utilize software tools such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D drafting and design purposes.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on project engineering tasks.
• Perform construction estimating to provide accurate cost assessments for projects.

Skills

• Proficient in project scheduling and management techniques.
• Solid understanding of civil engineering concepts including hydraulics, wastewater treatment, and system design.
• Ability to perform technical writing for project documentation.
• Expertise in CAD software for drafting purposes (AutoCAD, Civil 3D).
• Experience with GIS applications (ArcGIS) for data analysis and visualization.
