Job Description Summary

Cushman & Wakefield, a global leader in commercial real estate services, is seeking a Senior Client Accounting Consultant to join our Client Finance Department within the Asset Services team.

In this strategic role, you will provide leadership and supervision to the accounting team, supporting operations and clients with expert judgment and solid accounting expertise. This role will primarily be focus on retail sector and lease management so the candidate will act as a trusted advisor for the team, offering solutions in complex management-level situations.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Contract Management:

  • Manage lease contracts and branch rental agreements across the client portfolio (Retail, Offices, Logistics).

  • Ensure tenant compliance with lease terms, building regulations, and local laws.

  • Monitor contract deadlines and coordinate with the Leasing team.

  • Handle delinquency situations, debt collection, and coordinate with legal advisors as needed.

Accounts Receivable Management:

  • Issue and send invoices and credit notes for rent and service charges through the client’s tax portal.

  • Support collections and ensure timely receipt of tenant payments.

  • Coordinate with accountants for registration taxes and other statutory payments related to leases.

Accounts Payable & Financial Operations:

  • Record invoices and credit notes in the internal management system.

  • Manage internal approval processes and payment verification.

  • Prepare payments and related documentation.

  • Contribute to budgeting and forecasting activities.

Reporting & Client Support:

  • Prepare tenancy and arrears reports.

  • Support Asset Managers in delivering client-required reporting.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.

  • Previous experience (4-6 years) in a similar roles within Real Estate or Property Management.

  • Languages: english, italian

  • Strong accounting fundamentals and analytical skills.

  • Team-oriented with excellent organizational skills.

  • Proficient in English and MS Office (particularly Excel).

  • Knowledge of Yardi Voyager is a plus.
