Coach / Dsp (Direct Support Professional)

Job Overview:

Shift:

Monday to Friday 6 hours per day 9am to 3pm.

We are a community-based day program. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Direct Support Professionals/Coaches. As a coach, you will provide essential support to individuals with developmental disabilities while out in the community.

Duties:

- Assist individuals through guidance, support and coaching

- Ensure the safety and well-being of individuals under your care

- Implement ISP goals

- Maintain accurate documentation

- Advocate for individual's rights and promote independence

- Provide direct coaching services as outlined in the Individual Placement Plan (IPP) including one-on-one training of specific skills

- Work closely with Program Supervisor to monitor Individual Services Plans.

- Work on personalized goals as per IPP.

- Work with the Program Supervisor to coordinate assessments, arranging for the development of individualized behavior support plans as needed.

Requirements:

- High School Diploma/GED

- Being able to work out in the community

- Must have a valid Drivers license and a good driving record

- Must pass DOJ/FBI background check

- Clear a TB test
