Coffee Equipment Support Specialist

About Us:

BlackDrum is a leading coffee roaster based in Sydney, committed to providing exceptional coffee products and services. We are seeking a Coffee Equipment Support Specialist to join our team. This role is perfect for an individual who possesses strong technical skills in coffee equipment maintenance and a passion for delivering top-notch customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

Technical Support: Provide technical support to customers over the phone and via email, troubleshooting coffee machine issues and offering solutions.

On-Site Support: Travel to client locations as needed to repair, maintain, and install coffee equipment, ensuring optimal functionality and customer satisfaction.

Customer Education: Educate customers on the proper use, cleaning, and maintenance of coffee machines to enhance their overall experience and machine longevity.

Service Scheduling: Coordinate service appointments and manage client expectations regarding machine repair or maintenance timelines.

Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service visits, repairs, and any follow-up actions required.

Problem Resolution: Diagnose technical issues with espresso machines, grinders, and other coffee brewing equipment, providing timely and effective solutions.

Collaboration: Work closely with other departments, including sales and customer service, to ensure customer needs are met and expectations are exceeded.

What We’re Looking For:

● Proven experience in coffee machine maintenance and troubleshooting, ideally within the coffee or hospitality industry.

● Strong technical knowledge of espresso machines, grinders, and coffee brewing equipment.

● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage and assist customers over the phone and in person.

● Strong problem-solving abilities, with a proactive approach to resolving customer issues.

● Ability to manage service requests and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

● A customer-centric attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality service and support.

● A valid driver’s license and the ability to travel to customer locations when needed.

● Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $80,000.00 per year
