Commercial Business Analyst

WIN Waste Innovations is looking for a Commercial Business Analyst at our corporate office in Portsmouth, NH. The Commercial Business Analyst will work closely with the Energy and Waste Pricing teams to accomplish department goals and will be responsible daily functions for daily commodity reporting, trading support, and process automation in addition to analytical support in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining data processes to support energy and waste pricing functions
• Perform both financial and operational analysis utilizing statistical methods and best practices
• Support the automatization and streamlining of team processes relating to reporting and analysis
• Support Credit trading function
• Manage daily commodity market moves, position valuation, and margin estimates
• Support energy reporting functions
• Support waste pricing team's data analysis and automation needs
• Maintain positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner so that you get along with customers, clients, vendors, co-workers and management

Qualifications:

• Strong academic performance with no less than bachelor's degree in a STEM, Economics, or mathematically oriented field of study
• 1-2 years of relevant job experience or prominent academic and internship experience
• Advanced programing and database capabilities; SQL and VBA are a must
• Ability to learn at a fast pace with inquisitiveness and initiative

Preferred:

• Knowledge of and exposure to commodity and waste industries are a plus
