This important opportunity is based at Bethlehem Town Centre a large retail complex - you will be working Saturday and Sunday from 7:00am to 6:00pm - working as part of the Cleaning Team. Your duties will involve mopping, vacuuming, detail cleaning, toilets and bathrooms, edges, rubbish bins, clearing and cleaning to ensure a safe, hygienic and customer-friendly space.

You will be working in the eye of the public and client and must be available for every shift.

About you:

• MUST - be an experienced Cleaner.
• Able to complete every shift as above.
• Detail cleaning or ride on machinery equipment experience an advantage but not essential.
• A CAN DO attitude.
• A quick learner.
• A customer-friendly attitude.
• Available for other shifts from time to time, to cover as may be necessary.
• Must be at least 18 years of age due to H&S policies.
• Eligibility to work in New Zealand - Have a valid New Zealand Work Visa, Resident Visa, or Citizenship.
• Be able to get to and from site reliably and punctually.
• Pass a Ministry of Justice (Criminal Conviction History) check!
• Physically fit to do the job.
• Good attention to detail.
• A reliable work ethic with great customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, following training and instructions.

About the role:

• Plan for safe and efficient cleaning activities in an environmentally responsible manner
• Hands on Cleaning required.
• Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the facilities and other equipment.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to your Supervisor or Manager.
• Ensure that all cleaning equipment and materials are stored securely and used safely.
• Comply with all Health and Safety regulations and policies.
