The opportunity

We are looking for a Commercial Manager to join our Central Otago region. This is a pivotal leadership role where you'll drive strategy, lead a high-performing commercial team, and help shape the region's construction landscape as part of the regional senior management team.

As the Commercial Manager, you will take ownership for the strategic leadership, with the goal of optimising our opportunities by ensuring commercial best practice is followed to maximise value and minimise risk and cost to Naylor Love, maintaining excellent Customer Relationship Management.

It is essential that you can work with various stakeholders in the region, and that you will be able to build and maintain relationships with various clients, consultancies and sub-contractors, and as such, you will be an effective communicator.

It is expected you will hold the appropriate qualifications, and able to demonstrate a proven track record in quantity surveying/commercial management with significant experience in a senior role. You will be commercially astute, and possess good negotiations skills with experience in procurement, contract and financial administration and the ability to manage and motivate individuals within a team to reach their full potential.
