- Serves as the Regional Administrator for Region 2, Bureau of Community Support Services.
- Manages and coordinates multi-disciplinary planning, development and administration of quality assurance monitoring and certifications at the grantee level.
- Serves as full-line supervisor.
- Plans for the efficient utilization of Community Support Services resources, i.e., fiscal management, personnel management, budget analysis and preparation, area goals and objectives, development and public relations.
- Directs and coordinates the development of monitoring tools, criteria and procedures in conjunction with Division programs, to ensure that program guidelines and policies are monitored in accordance with DHS/OCA rules.
- Plans and directs collaboration with Division bureau/program staff regarding grant reviews, orientations.
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumerated above.
- Requires knowledge, skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college.
- Requires four (4) years progressively responsible administrative grant experience in a public or private organization.
- Four (4) years of professional experience ensuring detailed and critical analysis of work performed is consistent with Grants Accountability and Transparency Act (GATA) and 2 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 200, 89 Illinois Administrative Code, Section 509.70, and Uniform Grant Agreements.
- Four (4) years of professional supervisory experience managing personnel, assigning work, providing guidance to subordinates, recommending counseling and/or discipline following collective bargaining agreements, training staff and approving time off.
- Four (4) years of professional experience directing, planning, and implementing successful administrative and fiscal monitoring and quality assurance analysis/assessments of funded grantees for a public or private business organization.
- Four (4) years of professional experience working with and communicating with private and public entities, recommending and ensuring best practices and strategies to ensure intended grantee outcomes are reflected in the communities served including composing, proof reading, and editing professional correspondence and reports.
- Four (4) years of professional experience developing, analyzing, ensuring implementation of and/or approving budgets, policies and procedures for a public or private organization.
- Four (4) years of professional experience providing training and technical assistance to staff relative to grantee’s fiscal and administrative performance outcomes.
- Requires the ability to travel statewide with overnight says.
- Requires the ability to utilize software programs such as Microsoft Office Suite
