Responsibilities

• Transportation: Safely transport people and/or goods to designated locations, such as client sites or business establishments.
• Route planning: Plan and execute efficient routes, using navigational technology when necessary.
• Loading and unloading: Assist with loading and unloading cargo, equipment, or materials.
• Record keeping: Maintain accurate logs of deliveries, mileage, fuel usage, and maintenance.
• Vehicle maintenance: Conduct routine inspections, perform basic maintenance (like checking fluid levels), and report any issues or defects to management.
• Safety and compliance: Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, safety procedures, and company policies.
• Customer service: Interact with clients and customers professionally, handle inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Requirements and skills

• A valid driver's license and a clean driving record are essential.
• Knowledge of traffic laws and regulations is mandatory.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are needed for interacting with management and clients.
• The ability to work independently and stay calm under pressure.
• Physical stamina may be required to handle heavy loads.
• Attention to detail, particularly for record-keeping and order accuracy.
• Flexibility to work varied hours, which may include evenings and weekends.
