Construction Project Manager

Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Civil Construction Project Manager to oversee various CIVIL CONSTRUCTION projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of project management procedures, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and aligned with business objectives. This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. MUST BE ABLE AND WILLING TO TRAVEL THE NORTHEAST AS NEEDED, estimated 25% travel.
Duties

• Lead the planning and implementation of project tasks, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Develop detailed project schedules, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
• Manage project implementation, ensuring adherence to quality standards and stakeholder expectations.
• Properly manage project execution including procuring material at the best price possible, gathering and delivering submittals on material, tracking scope of work and creating change orders when necessary.
• Facilitate change orders and requisite take offs accordingly.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies as needed.
• Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders to communicate progress, challenges, and next steps.

Skills

• Proficiency in takeoff software's such as bluebeam.
• Strong skills in project scheduling and resource management tools.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively present ideas and updates to stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Experience in quality management processes to ensure deliverables meet established standards.
• Strong analytical skills for requirements management and problem-solving capabilities.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $75,000.00 - $100,180.27 per year
