About the Role
We’re looking for a resourceful and resilient Content Creator to join our team on a 6-month maternity cover (Sept 2025 - Mar 2026). This role is ideal for a creative storyteller with a strong sense of initiative, who thrives in fast-paced environments and can anticipate content needs before they arise.
Your focus will be on crafting engaging social media content that brings our brand to life and connects with our audience in meaningful ways. From writing sharp copy to coordinating visuals, you’ll be hands-on in creating and publishing across multiple platforms. The role also includes supporting event-related content and on-ground communications.
You’ll need to be persistent, adaptable, and solutions-focused – with a flair for spotting stories that matter and shaping them for impact.
Key Responsibilities
Social Media & Content Creation
- Plan, draft, and publish engaging content for social media platforms (LinkedIn, Viva Engage (internal) etc.)
- Repurpose internal news and updates into bite-sized, platform-appropriate content
- Collaborate with design, comms and wider teams to ensure visual and message alignment
- Monitor content performance and adjust approaches based on analytics and feedback
- Maintain a social content calendar that balances planned and reactive content
- Keep ahead of key moments, campaigns, or announcements, ensuring timely content delivery
Storytelling & Campaign Support
- Identify story ideas that showcase people, projects, and impact
- Support storytelling across campaigns – from thought leadership posts to video content
- Write sharp, brand-aligned copy with clarity and consistency in tone and voice
Event Communications & Support
- Assist on-site at events to capture live content (photos, quotes, snippets for social)
- Create content to promote attendance and drive engagement (e.g., speaker posts, behind-the-scenes stories)
- Coordinate post-event highlights and recaps
What We’re Looking For
- Proven experience in content creation, ideally with a strong social media and storytelling focus
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills – you can craft punchy, people-centred stories
- Ability to think ahead, plan for upcoming content needs, and adapt quickly to changes
- A collaborative mindset, with the ability to manage multiple requests and deadlines
- Comfort working with stakeholders across levels and functions
- Experience supporting event communications and capturing live moments (a plus)
- Familiarity with basic design tools (e.g. Canva) or video editing (a bonus, not a must)
