Content Marketing Intern/Ojt

Job Summary

The Content Marketing Intern will provide operational and creative support to the Brand/Marketing team, primarily assisting in content planning, copywriting, lightweight content creation, social media coordination, educational content preparation, and marketing operations across the Pawnec ecosystem (eHealth Card, Vetscribe, and Pet Pulse).

This internship is ideal for students or fresh graduates who want hands-on experience in content marketing, social media management, CRM workflows, educational content production, lightweight content design, and startup marketing operations within a fast-paced technology and veterinary environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Content Ideation & Research

• Assist in generating weekly content ideas aligned with Pawnec’s content pillars and campaigns
• Conduct research on pet care, veterinary workflows, public health, technology, and industry trends
• Help structure educational and value-first content concepts for social media and blogs

2. Copywriting & Content Development

• Draft captions, blog content, educational copies, and social media text based on approved directions
• Assist in adapting tone and messaging for different audiences (pet owners, veterinarians, government stakeholders)
• Help organize and prepare content outlines for carousel posts, reels, and educational materials

3. Social Media Coordination & Publishing

• Assist in scheduling social media posts using HubSpot or Meta Business Suite
• Upload captions, creatives, hashtags, and publishing details
• Ensure alignment with approved content calendars and posting schedules
• Monitor scheduled posts and confirm successful publishing

4. HubSpot & Marketing Operations Support

• Assist in creating and managing HubSpot forms for onboarding and campaigns
• Organize marketing databases, tracking sheets, and lead documentation
• Support social inbox monitoring and message routing
• Assist in maintaining organized marketing assets and documentation

5. Blog & Website Content Support

• Assist in preparing and uploading blog contents and release notes
• Coordinate content-related updates for Shopify-based pages when needed
• Help organize educational and onboarding content references

6. Educational & Walkthrough Content Support

• Assist in preparing scripts, references, and outlines for walkthrough-style and educational content
• Potentially participate in simple voice recorded or talking-head videos, walkthroughs, or educational explainers related to Pawnec’s software ecosystem and pet care topics
• Comfortable speaking on camera is an advantage but not required

7. Lightweight Creative & Content Support

• Assist in creating lightweight social media materials and marketing content aligned with existing branding systems
• Adapt existing Canva/Figma templates for LGUs, clinics, campaigns, and social media needs
• Assist in simple layouting, resizing, and content assembly tasks
• Ensure outputs remain aligned with Pawnec’s existing branding, visual systems, and communication style

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia Arts, Advertising, Business Administration, IT, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Familiarity with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok)
• Familiarity with Canva, Adobe Illustrator, and Figma is required
• Familiarity with HubSpot, Meta Business Suite and Shopify is an advantage
• Familiarity with Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects is a plus
• Ability to follow and align with existing branding and design systems
• Detail-oriented, organized, and willing to learn
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment
