POSITION SUMMARY

The Content Marketing Manager plays a key role in supporting the Head of Content Marketing by overseeing the day-to-day execution of content initiatives. This role is hands-on and execution focused, responsible for ensuring the smooth production and delivery of high-quality, engaging materials across all platforms, aligned with Walks and Devour’s broader marketing objectives.

Reporting directly to the Head of Content Marketing, this position manages content workflows, oversees freelance writers and editors, and maintains consistent brand standards. The Content Marketing Manager ensures that all content supports goals such as traffic growth, audience engagement, and customer acquisition.

This role requires a strong organizational mindset, a collaborative approach, and a passion for creating impactful content that resonates with our audience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Content Production & Management

  • Collaborate closely with the Head of Content Marketing to execute the content strategy.
  • Manage the execution of the content calendar, ensuring projects are delivered on time and meet quality standards.
  • Oversee the work of freelance writers and editors, providing clear briefs and maintaining alignment with brand tone and guidelines.
  • Review and edit content to ensure quality and accuracy, elevating the team’s output.

SEO/LLMO Optimization

  • Partner with SEO specialists to ensure all content is optimized for search visibility and rankings.
  • Use analytics tools to track content performance and report findings to the Head of Content Marketing for strategic adjustments.

Innovation & Tools

  • Leverage AI and automation tools to enhance production efficiency and scale output, maintaining quality while increasing volume.
  • Experiment with new content formats and workflows, supporting the content team in driving innovation.

Cross-Team Collaboration

  • Coordinate with other marketing teams (e.g., social media, affiliate, paid media) to align content with broader campaigns.
  • Support cross-functional initiatives by providing content that strengthens customer engagement and brand presence.

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS

Essential:

  • 3+ years of experience in content marketing, with demonstrated success in managing content workflows.
  • Strong understanding of SEO best practices and analytics tools.
  • Exceptional organizational and project management skills, with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for detail.
  • Desirable:
  • Experience in video or multimedia content production.
  • Familiarity with AI tools for content creation and optimization.
  • Experience or curiosity with agile marketing methodology, including iterative testing, fast-paced adaptation, and cross-functional collaboration to optimize marketing campaigns in real-time.

Working Conditions & Shift Pattern

  • Standard business hours, with occasional flexibility required for campaign launches or urgent projects.
  • Some travel may be required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: €32,000.00-€40,000.00 per year
