Job Description
The Role
Working closely with our service providers and approved contractors you will ensure that Aurora has safety assurance on the work being performed on its network. You will do so through providing educational support, observing work is in line with Aurora's trust and verify approach and contributing to incident investigations and implementation of new approaches.
Proactive, you will build relationships with a variety of service providers - varying in size, disciplines and H&S systems maturity. This will see you collaborating with stakeholders such as H&S professionals, operations managers and field staff.
Forming part of the Service Delivery team, you will be well supported by the Contractor Relationship Manager and work closely with the rest of the team including project managers. Additionally, you will collaborate with H&S colleagues, each specialising in other areas of Aurora's business within the decentralised model.
About You
Experienced in H&S, you'll bring strong people skills and be relationship driven. This will see you being able to facilitate problem solving and tailor solutions that are aligned to Aurora's risk management and operational goals.
Additionally, you will have:
- A diploma in H&S (or higher)
- Experience working within infrastructure and operational environments
- Exposure to contractor assurance frameworks
- Carried out incident investigations and audits
- Experience in compiling and presenting regular reports
