Job Description


Team Summary

The Client Services team provides industry-leading operational support to Visa’s clients around the world. With our deep knowledge and expertise, we bring the voice of the customer into the design, development, and successful deployment of Visa products and services. We are trusted partners to Visa’s clients, providing expertise to support and successfully grow their business.

Client Contract Management (CCM) team supports Visa’s global strategy by managing the governance and contracting process of client contracts (from draft development and negotiation through to securing internal approvals, execution, auditing and reporting).


What a Contract Analyst, Client Contract Management does at Visa:

This role is an individual contributor within the AP CCM team based in Singapore office. The ideal candidate will be self-directed, analytical and a strategic thinker.

  • Serve as the key CCM contract owner for the assigned markets in managing and facilitating client contract administration process which includes reviewing and processing contract requests, contract drafting, stakeholders’ approvals, contract issuance, and execution within agreed Service-Level Objectives (SLOs).
  • Liaise with various stakeholders including Account Executives, Products, Legal, Finance, Audit etc to ensure that contracts are developed and approved consistently and promptly in accordance with relevant policies and procedures.
  • Manage post-contract administration activities including and not limited to distribution of contract information to all necessary stakeholders, handling of hardcopies, contracts filing, database management, audit enquiries, and other post-execution activities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely records and documents associated with all contracts for management reporting, capacity planning, as well as for audit purpose.
  • Identify and implement process improvements for assigned markets and / or contract types, and provide value-add services to our stakeholders and business partners.
  • Participate in special assignments and providing ad-hoc support and reporting as required, including but not limited to supporting other regions’ colleagues as needed.

The Contract Analyst is a subject matter expert in managing and administering client contracting process, from contract drafting request through to executed contract distribution, by working with various stakeholders of all levels. Subjected to audit reviews, Contract Analyst, as part of CCM team, ensures designated contracts are aligned with business processes and controls established by various Visa corporate policies and compliant with industry-specific rules and regulations, while continually looking for opportunities to optimize such process and controls.

Projects you will be a part of:

As part of the CCM team, you will get the opportunity to work on strategically important projects for Visa in addition to the core responsibilities of a Contract Analyst. This includes, but not limited to:

  • Collaborating with our stakeholders including other region CCM colleagues, Legal, Finance, Sales, Products, Client Services etc, continuously looking for opportunities to optimize CCM processes and workflow to drive process improvements and efficiency;
  • Participate in special assignments and providing ad-hoc support and reporting as required, including supporting other regions’ colleagues as needed.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications


What you will need:

  • Bachelors degree in any relevant discipline
  • Minimum 5 years of business service management experience in contract management or business operations, preferably in the payment services industry and related credit and debit processing industries, banking and financial institutions, technology and digital payments, fintech.
  • Highly-organized self-starter with strong attention to detail, able to multi-task and to follow procedures-driven process in managing requests from stakeholders across various functions at all levels of management throughout Visa under minimal supervision within agreed Service-Level Objectives (SLOs).
  • Responsible for own workflow assignments and must be able to take the initiative to resolve problems and meet tight deadlines especially during peak period.
  • Team oriented, collaborative, diplomatic and flexible.
  • Openness to active developmental feedback and coaching from peers and managers.
  • Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) tool, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tool, eSignature tool, and computer applications including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) is required.

What will also help:

  • Experience with data analytical tool e.g. Power BI a plus.
  • Understanding of Visa Products and Services.
