Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and cook a variety of Thai dishes, including appetizers, main courses, and desserts, ensuring authenticity and high quality.
  • Follow recipes and presentation standards to maintain consistency across all dishes.
  • Assist in menu development by suggesting new dishes or improvements based on traditional Thai cooking techniques.
  • Monitor food preparation areas for cleanliness and compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Manage food inventory, including ordering and stocking ingredients, to minimize waste and ensure freshness.
  • Work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations during busy hours.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including cleaning kitchen equipment and tools after use.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a cook, preferably in Thai or Asian cuisine.
  • Strong knowledge of traditional Thai ingredients, cooking techniques, and flavor profiles.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
  • A food safety certificate is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.75-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 20 per week

  • Food Handler Certification (preferred)
  • Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
