Role Overview:

The Country Manager will oversee Vega Biotec Pvt Ltd's sales and marketing operations in the Philippines. This role involves developing and implementing strategic plans, achieving sales targets, and expanding the company's presence in the market. The ideal candidate will bring proven leadership, a track record in driving growth, and expertise in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies tailored to the Philippine market.
• Identify market opportunities, industry trends, and potential growth areas.
• Align local strategies with the company’s global goals and objectives.

Sales Management:

• Set and achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Build and manage relationships with distributors, clients, and key stakeholders.
• Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics and suggest improvements.

Marketing Leadership:

• Design and implement marketing campaigns to promote Vega Biotec’s products.
• Oversee the creation of promotional materials and ensure alignment with brand guidelines.
• Conduct market research to understand customer needs and competitor activity.

Team Leadership:

• Foster a collaborative and goal-oriented work environment.
• Provide regular coaching and performance feedback to team members.
• As the candidate will be responsible for recruiting the team members locally

Compliance and Reporting:

• Ensure compliance with local regulations and company policies.
• Prepare and present periodic sales and marketing reports to senior management.
• Manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field. MBA preferred.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in sales and marketing, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong background in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry.
• Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales targets.
• Familiarity with the regulatory environment in the Philippines.
• Ability to travel as required.
