At MATCHi, we have been on a mission to be the platform of choice for the racket sports community since 2012. Our vision to help the community to play more by connecting players and venues is coming everyday closer to reality, helped by the impressive boom of Padel.

Our growth has been nothing but spectacular, recently doubling the players and venues joining us on the journey. Today, our platform offers a wide range of solutions for players to find and book their court, and for venues to administer their schedule while offering training and competitions. We see the future ahead of us and the possibilities are broad: video recordings, intelligent training, online communities, perfect player matching. Be it tennis, padel, badminton or table tennis, the breadth of innovations will bring racket sports players around the world to simply play more.

To help us achieve our ambition, we are looking for a new member to join our team. Join us as a Country Manager and be part of the Commercial team building the number one racket sports platform.

What you will do

As the Country Manager for Norway at MATCHi, you will be the driving force behind our growth and success in the Norwegian market. This dynamic role combines strategic sales leadership with customer success management, ensuring our platform delivers exceptional value to sports organizations, venues, and racket sport enthusiasts.

You will be responsible for the Norwegian market, building and nurturing strong relationships with clients, identifying growth opportunities, and leading initiatives to establish MATCHi as the go-to solution in the racket sports industry. By combining your passion for sales with a deep understanding of customer needs, you'll contribute to expanding our presence and driving market adoption.

What you will bring

  • Proven, hands-on experience in developing and executing strategic sales plans.
  • A good understanding of costs, revenue, and profit margins.
  • Experience in delivering education and training to customers.
  • Experience in supporting the growth of existing customers and helping them achieve their full potential.
  • A track record of leveraging strong sales and negotiation skills to build long-term partnerships.
  • Knowledge of the racket sports industry and MATCHi’s product portfolio and SaaS platform would be advantageous.

  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to naturally build professional relationships.
  • Confidence in presenting complex ideas clearly and persuasively, whether to clients or when collaborating with internal teams.
  • A curious and passionate mindset that thrives in a fast-paced environment, with a constant eagerness to learn and bring fresh ideas to the table.
  • A problem-solving attitude, skilled at addressing client concerns and finding innovative solutions, even under pressure.

Location

The position is home-based in Norway, requiring a high level of motivation and self-discipline to succeed in a remote work environment. You must also be prepared to spend a minimum of 10 days per year at our headquarters.
