As Country Manager / Key Account Manager – Denmark, you will be responsible for driving and developing our sales and market position in Denmark. The role combines operational responsibility for key accounts with strategic responsibility for market development, sales performance, and the local business plan. You will contribute to scaling up the organization as the Danish business grows. The ambition is to expand the Danish business over time, meaning you must be motivated by developing people and build a strong team.
You will work closely with our Nordic and international teams across sales, marketing, and product development to ensure our offering reaches the right customer segments and delivers strong added value.
Your Mission
You will act as the commercial driver of the business in Denmark, with full responsibility for market development and performance. Your key responsibilities include:
Manage and develop relationships with key customers (projects, wholesalers, and retail), building long-term partnerships.
Drive sales activities and achieve revenue and profitability targets in the Danish market.
Develop and implement the local business and marketing plan in line with group strategy.
Identify new business opportunities, sales channels, and partnerships, and lead commercial negotiations.
Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to proactively recommend product and marketing initiatives.
Collaborate with logistics, customer service, and product teams to ensure high delivery precision and customer satisfaction.
Report sales results and forecasts to Nordic management and contribute to budgeting and pricing processes.
Who You Are
You are commercially driven, customer-focused, and comfortable with working independently in an international environment. You have an ability to build and maintain relationships at all levels and enjoy combining strategic thinking with hands-on sales execution.
Qualifications
Required:
Several years of experience in B2B sales, preferably within the construction, interior design, or related industries.
Proven experience managing key accounts and driving complex sales processes.
Experience with business and budget responsibility, and a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
Fluency in Danish and English, both written and spoken. Swedish is meritorious.
Strong IT and systems skills, including experience with CRM tools.
Driver’s license (Category B).
Meritorious:
Experience from international organizations or working with channel strategies (wholesale/retail/projects).
Knowledge of flooring or building materials, and sustainability aspects related to products.
Experience leading local teams or external partners.
