Job Description:
Participate in cyber security Large Language Module (LLM) program to assess, trial and implement applicable models such as:
Threat Detection and Analysis: Train LLMs to detect and classify potential threats in the cyber environment by analysing patterns in network traffic or communication.
Phishing Detection: LLMs can be trained to understand and detect potential phishing attacks in an email or message content, flagging them for review.
Code Security Review: Develop skills in training an LLM to automatically review code for potential security flaws or vulnerabilities.
Cybersecurity Awareness Training: Develop chatbot systems using LLMs to drive cybersecurity training interactions, raising awareness of threats and best practices amongst employees and users.
Automatic Report Writing: LLMs can work on automating the generation of security reports following an incident, streamlining the process, and saving time for cybersecurity teams.
Incident Response: LLMs can aid in automating responses to certain common cyber threats or incidents, providing faster resolution and minimizing damage.
Predictive Threat Analysis: Train LLMs to predict potential cyber threats based on patterns and trends in data, enabling proactive protection measures.
Real-Time Alert Systems: Create a set of real-time alerts in the cybersecurity system by teaching the LLM to recognize certain risk parameters or situations.
Document Review: LLMs can be programmed to review complex legal and compliance documents, extract crucial information, and provide cybersecurity guidelines based on them.
Enhancing User Authentication: Use LLM to improve behavioural biometric security by understanding and learning usual user behaviour and detecting anomalies.
Encryption and Data Protection: Using LLMs to enhance and reinforce encryption algorithms by continually learning and updating them based on data breaches and cybersecurity threats.
Vulnerability Patching: Use LLMs to understand the nature of new vulnerabilities and assist in creating appropriate patches.
Real-Time Monitoring and Troubleshooting: LLMs can be used as first-line analysis for monitoring system activities and identifying any potential threats or issues.
Customize Security Framework: Train LLMs for tailoring cybersecurity systems to the specific needs of a company, industry, or project based on the interpretation of inbound data.
Social Engineering Detection: Train an LLM to recognize signs of social engineering attacks, such as deceiving messages or emails designed to impersonate trusted sources.
Data Loss Prevention: Utilizing LLMs to enforce policies for data loss prevention (DLP), by correctly identifying and classifying sensitive data.
Cybersecurity Research: LLMs can aid in researching new cyber threats, understanding their mechanisms and suggesting mitigations or defences.
Policy and Compliance Management: Use LLMs to maintain an organization's cybersecurity policy, ensuring it meets all legal obligations and regulations.
The ethical use of AI and LLMs will be a significant area of focus throughout this internship. LLMs have to be trained and managed responsibly, with attention to potential unintended consequences (e.g., misuse, bias).
