What you’ll do:

  • Lead complex digital forensic investigations and eDiscovery engagements end to end, taking ownership of quality standards, delivery timelines, and evidential integrity across the entire discovery lifecycle
  • Strategically oversee forensic acquisition and analysis of electronic evidence from computers, servers, cloud environments, and mobile devices, ensuring teams adhere to best practice methodologies
  • Drive the design, governance, and continuous improvement of scalable database architecture, data structures, and forensic evidence repositories, setting the standard for data accuracy, completeness, and reliability
  • Take ownership of backup and recovery frameworks, security controls, and disaster recovery planning, ensuring the protection and resilience of critical forensic data assets
  • Preparing and maintaining documentation, policies and instructions, and recording and detailing operational procedures and system logs
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients, providing strategic counsel on eDiscovery, risk mitigation, and compliance while identifying opportunities to grow the practice
  • Build, lead, and develop high performing forensic and eDiscovery teams, setting clear performance expectations, driving accountability, and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous development

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience leading eDiscovery engagements with a comprehensive understanding of the full eDiscovery lifecycle and demonstrated expertise across industry leading forensic tools (e.g., EnCase, Cellebrite, Magnet Axiom, Nuix, RelativityOne)
  • Proven track record of directing forensic data acquisition whilst maintaining evidential integrity, chain of custody protocols, and regulatory compliance
  • Experience leading the design, governance, and strategic oversight of database architecture, data structures, and master data management within forensic or complex technical environments
  • Demonstrated capability in owning and driving infrastructure strategy, including backup and recovery frameworks, security controls, disaster recovery planning, and escalated technical troubleshooting
  • Strong client management and stakeholder engagement skills at a senior level, with a proven ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, actionable insights for executive audiences
  • Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen and a demonstrated ability to identify market opportunities, drive practice growth, and contribute to business development
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and advise senior stakeholders, clients, and cross functional teams with authority and credibility

The minimum salary for a Senior Associate in this role is AUD 89,100 including superannuation. Higher grades will receive a salary range above this in line with the salary bands for these positions.
