The Role:
The Automotive Data Analyst role within the Product Management department focuses on researching, gathering, and analyzing data to support Automotive Parts and Service initiatives, particularly for Factory Recommended maintenance schedules and Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) Accessory installed pricing. This position is responsible for creating and maintaining databases, managing Enhanced Maintenance Guide data sets, and identifying new opportunities for our Dealer Management System (DMS) embedded features using existing dealership data. The analyst will work closely with various teams to ensure data accuracy, smooth customer onboarding, and effective project management, while also communicating with dealers and stakeholders to gather feedback and demonstrate developed projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Research and analyze vehicle maintenance schedules and OEM accessory pricing using online tools and partner data
  • Create and maintain databases that serve as foundation for DMS features that utilize the data
  • Collaborate with development, training, and deployment teams to ensure data accuracy and smooth customer onboarding
  • Research, develop and demo proposals for new functionality based on industry knowledge and customer demand
  • Communicate with dealers to gather feedback, retrieve additional data, and analyze efficacy of beta rollouts
  • Test developed projects and demonstrate them to internal teams
  • Identify new opportunities for DMS embedded features using existing dealership data
  • Collaborate across departments to acquire and leverage diverse data sets
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of automotive service/parts experience
  • Must have strong Excel skills
  • Demonstrate knowledge of automotive repairs quoting with labour and parts
  • Experience with electronic parts catalogues would be beneficial
  • Ability to travel once a quarter in both Canada and USA
  • Possess a high-level attention to detail
  • Exhibit good communication and teamwork skills
  • Possess good organizational skills
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Exceptional ability to work collaboratively in both a team atmosphere and independently
  • Proven ability to communicate effectively and manage stakeholder expectations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Ability to identify and visualize product roadmaps
  • Flexible, fast learner who thrives in a constantly changing work environment
