The Data Analyst is responsible for overseeing our data systems and reporting frameworks, guaranteeing the integrity and precision of data. The ideal candidate will transform raw data into structured information, which will then be reviewed to glean insights that shape thoughtful business decisions. This position encompasses a comprehensive analysis lifecycle, covering requirement gathering, activity execution, and design planning. Data Analysts are tasked with enhancing analytical and reporting functions, as well as supervising performance and quality assurance processes to pinpoint areas for enhancement.

What you’ll do
- Detect, examine, and decode trends or patterns within intricate datasets.
- Cleanse data and scrutinize computer-generated reports and outputs to identify and rectify coding errors.
- Coordinate with management to align business and informational priorities.
- Identify opportunities for process enhancements.
- Develop data dashboards, charts, and visual aids to support Data Quality improvements.
- Convey insights through both reports and visual presentations.
- Partner with engineering and product development teams to understand data issues.
- Engage with managers from various departments to specify data requirements for analysis projects tailored to their unique business processes.
- Design and implement data governance within other organizations.
- Support the DGO Lead in managing the definition owners in the Mileway business lines that are accountable for defining and maintaining the definitions of data / business data glossary
What you’ll bring
- HBO or University education in a related field
- Experience in the Real Estate industry and Yardi is an advantage
- Minimum 5 years of experience with DWH development (MS SQL platform, SQL script based ETL)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in meta data based DWH combined with automation
- Knowledge and experience of Front-End BI Tools (PowerBI and/or Tableau)
- Exhibit exceptional analytical abilities to compile, structure, examine, and present substantial data sets with precision and thoroughness.
- Demonstrate outstanding communication and presentation capabilities, adept at simplifying complex data insights for audiences without a technical background.
- Knowledge and experience with the DAMA / DMBOK® framework
- Knowledge of tooling and tools in the field of data management and data quality
- Knowledge of data related regulations (legal & compliance)
- Knowledge of all Data Management disciplines Experience in Real Estate and Asset Management is an advantage
