The Mastercard Launch program is aimed at early career talent, to help you develop skills and gain cross-functional work experience. Over a period of 18 months, Launch participants will be assigned to a business unit, learn and develop skills, and gain valuable on the job experience.
Job Description
- Follow given directions and procedures in software delivery tasks (code development, test, deployment)
- Deliver assigned work seeking guidance from experienced team members
- Proactively seek code reviews of their work from experienced member
- Understands the big picture and end-to-end logical architecture of systems in ownership area
- Provide feedback and suggestions on areas to improve
- Understands the use of Mastercard technology policies in everyday work
- Demonstrate active learning and sharing of software practices via Guild/Engineering community initiatives
All About You:
- Solid SQL skills and experience developing insights from large datasets
- Database knowledge/experience
- Detail-oriented and proactive with the ability to function under pressure in an independent environment
- High degree of initiative and self-motivation with a willingness and ability to learn, taking on challenging opportunities
- Affinity and demonstrated aptitude for problem solving, quantitative analysis, and creative thinking
