Data Engineering Manager

Summary

The objective of the role is to lead, architect and manage the technology eco-system of LK Asia Data Platform and integrate with IT Enterprise Architecture along side business controlling that supports the organization’s vision, mission, and strategy.

What you'll do

What you'll need

• 8+ years of experience in IT, preferably with BI Engineering background with at least 2 years in staff managing position.
• Strong knowledge and proven hands-on experience in data warehousing using Snowflake (data modelling, data migration, performance tuning, data sharing, data security).
• Strong proficiency in SQL.
• Expertise with ETL (extract, transform, load) processes.
• Familiarity with BI tool integration such as Power BI and Tableau.
• Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving capability, and ability to translate busi-ness needs into technical specification.
• Customer-oriented with good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good leadership and people management skills.
• Proactive, self-motivated, hard-working, and able to work in a dynamic environ-ment.
• Good spoken and written communication skills in English.
