Your role as our Data Scientist

As a Data Scientist in our Marketing Mix Modelling team at Nepa, you will work with research and development as well as the implementation of advanced models, with a focus on implementation and delivery of our Marketing Mix Modelling solutions. You will join a brilliant team of Data Scientists, working across Nepa’s core products. You will also be in close contact with other key stakeholders across the company, working together to take our products to the next level.

Your responsibilites:

• Client delivery: You will take lead on our Marketing Mix Modelling deliveries to our clients. This involves everything from data structuring and modelling to presenting technical solutions and results to our clients.
• Advanced analysis: You leverage in-depth technical expertise to help solve our clients’ most demanding problems. Furthermore, are mindful of how technical design choices impact client value.
• Method expert and mentor: You will support our client teams and junior colleagues as an internal and external method expert in our Marketing Mix Modelling solution.
• Participate in product development: You will be part of a cross-functional product team with other data scientists, data engineers and developers. You will help integrate new learnings and insights in the product development as well as improving workflows and processes. We value collaboration and believe that the best products are built when combining different domain expertise’s.
• Staying on top of industry trends: Both tech and marketing are rapidly evolving industries. Nepa takes pride in our position as thought leaders, and places a big focus on staying up-to-date in order to remain one step ahead

Your profile

• Bachelor's/Master’s degree in Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business administration or similar
• Practical experience from working as a data scientist, analytics consultant, or similar role in the industry
• Hands-on experience from working with Marketing Mix Modelling
• You have a business mind-set and are able to turn data and results into actionable insights for our clients
• Excellent story telling and communication skills, ability to explain technical issues and solutions to non-technical people
• Competent in Python
• You are fluent in English, both in writing and speech.
• You have a work permit.

Although not required, previous experience of Bayesian statistics is highly valued.
