Position Summary

We’re hiring a full-time Labourer / Delivery Driver who is self-motivated, physically fit, and experienced in local deliveries. You will be responsible for transporting materials from lumber yard to job sites, with frequent physical labour (including hand-bombing) required.

Responsibilities

• Operate a single-axle straight truck, flat-deck, or tandem truck (depending on license)
• Deliver lumber and construction materials to job sites across Calgary and nearby areas
• Perform hot shot deliveries when needed
• Unload materials at job site (by hand or with forklift assistance; *all materials loaded by forklift at lumber yard)
• Communicate effectively with the team and customers
• Follow safety procedures and traffic regulations
• Keep accurate delivery records

Requirements

• Class 5 driver’s license (for straight truck/flat-deck/cube-van)
• OR Class 3 driver’s license with experience operating a tandem with Moffett (truck-mounted forklift — not warehouse forklift)
• Clean driving record (must provide a claims experience letter covering the last 3 years)
• Minimum 3 years of commercial driving/delivery experience
• Able to lift 50 lbs+ and perform physically demanding work
• Familiarity with Calgary and surrounding areas is a strong asset
• Fluent in English (verbal and written communication)
