Full Time Van Driver.

We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Van Delivery Driver to join our school lunch distribution team. The driver will be responsible for collecting prepared meals, delivering them to designated schools on schedule, and maintaining high standards of food safety, professionalism, and customer service

This role is a school term time, allowing staff to enjoy breaks during summer, Halloween, Easter and Christmas etc This position is ideal for parents/guardians of school going children and those who appreciate longer breaks

Key Responsibilities

Based in Raheen Industrial Estate

• Load pre-packed school lunches into the delivery van each morning, ensuring accurate quantities.
• Deliver meals to a set list of schools along a planned daily route.
• Unload meals into school , ensuring timely delivery
• Follow all food safety and handling procedures, including temperature control and hygiene requirements.
• Maintain delivery records, route sheets, and any required paperwork
• Conduct daily vehicle checks (fuel, fluids, tyres) and report any issues promptly.
• Keep the delivery van clean, tidy, and compliant with safety and hygiene standards.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, schools, and the operations team.
• Uphold a positive, professional attitude as a representative of the organisation.

Hours

• 4 am to 1 pm. Monday to Friday (45 hours per week. )

Hourly Rate

€16 per hour.

Requirements:

• Full Clean Cat. B driving licence
• Experience driving vans or similar commercial vehicles.
• Good time-management skills and ability to follow a fixed schedule.
• Physical ability to lift and move food crates/insulated boxes
• Strong reliability and punctuality.
• Key focus on attention to detail
• High levels of honesty, integrity, and personal hygiene
• Team spirit, solution focus, and can do attitude
