Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. Our doctors provide support and care using a whole body approach by looking for the connection between what's occurring in a patient's mouth and their overall well being. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care , and must have excellent communication skills. We take pride in our high tech fee for service office and we are excited for you to join our team!

**Reminder, this is part time. Tuesday-Thursday**

Duties

• Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.
• Take and record vital signs to monitor patients' health status.
• Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
• Maintain infection control protocols in compliance with health regulations.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Knowledge of dental anatomy, infection control practices, and medical coding is beneficial.
• Proficiency in using dental software such as Eaglesoft is a plus.
• Ability to take vital signs accurately and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining patient records and documentation.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
• A commitment to providing compassionate care in a fast-paced environment.
• X-ray certification
