Schedule:
Monday - Friday: 8:00am - 5:00pm

What You’ll Do
As a key member of our team, you will help support smooth, efficient, and comfortable patient care by:
- Prepare treatment rooms and patients for dental procedures
- Assist the dentist chairside using four-handed dentistry techniques
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments, equipment, and operatories
- Take dental radiographs and impressions as directed by the dentist
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and postoperative care instructions
- Maintain accurate patient records and update charts in the practice management system
- Monitor inventory and inform Clinical Lead or Office Manager of supply needs
- Follow OSHA, CDC, and HIPAA protocols to ensure patient and team safety
- Support a team-first culture and uphold Squire Dental’s values in every interaction
- Work Environment & Physical Requirements Involving : Ability to stand, sit, and assist with procedures for extended periods, Manual dexterity to operate dental instruments and equipment, May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, chemicals, and infectious materials, Use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) required
- Other duties as it relates to the position
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or on-the-job training
- Active dental assistant certification/license as required by state law
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Excellent communication and patient care skills
Preferred:
- 1+ years of experience in a dental assisting role
- Proficiency in dental software systems (Denticon)
