The Dental Assistant, Grade 2, will be a valued member of the AWH Dental Service to support the delivery of high quality, efficient and effective dental care to our community in our Public Dental Clinic and School Dental Program (Smile Squad). We are actively seeking candidates who meet the following requirements to apply for this exceptional opportunity:
- Certificate III in Dental Assisting
- Ability to provide efficient and effective clinical chair side dental assistance
- Ability to control equipment and material for dental procedures
- Ability to work within both a fixed clinic and outreach environment
- High level of communication with staff, clients and other stakeholders
- Adherence to Infection Control and OHS policy and guidelines
- Willingness to complete annual mandatory training and performance development
- Ability to work with the Senior Dental Nurse and Dental Leadership Team to ensure efficient operational management of the Dental Clinic
