A digital marketing agency with offices in South Africa and the UK, seeks to employ a Digital Marketing Intern to join their growing team on a 12- Month fixed term contract. The goal of the company is to help other businesses achieve their growth ambitions in a competitive environment. This is a chance for creative individuals to showcase their advertising and brand management skills. Duties include finding new brands to add to the company portfolio, providing support to campaigns, sales and CSM functions. A suitable candidate will need to have a bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, project management, business management, English or linguistics. This is a full-time position based in Cape Town.
Responsibilities:
- Reporting to the HR Manager
- Provide support to the campaigns, operations, sales or CSMs functions
- Successfully undertake digital induction training
- Successfully undertake training on Google Workspace, PacVue, Seller and vendor Central and other topics required to fulfill functions in the CSM team.
- Brand Strategy: Assist in developing and maintaining the company's brand strategy and guidelines. Help ensure consistent brand messaging across all communication channels.
- Portfolio management: Support the management of our product portfolio, including analysing performance, identifying growth opportunities, and assisting in product launch strategies.
- Campaign execution: Collaborate with the marketing team to plan, execute, and monitor marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, and traditional advertising.
- Content creation: Contribute to content creation for marketing materials, including blog posts, social media content, email campaigns, and more.
- Market research: Conduct research on industry trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activities to provide insights that inform marketing strategies.
- Reporting and analysis: Assist in tracking and analysing campaign performance metrics. Provide insights and recommendations for optimising future campaigns.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Advertising, Marketing, Project Management, Business Management, English or Linguistics.
- SEO certifications are advantageous
- Strong creative and analytical skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with digital marketing and social media platforms.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
