Job Summary
The Director, Digital Media Channels leads global paid media strategy and execution, driving customer-centric campaigns across multiple digital channels to deliver measurable business outcomes.
The successful candidate will develop and lead a team to deliver timely and on-budget paid search, paid social, programmatic display, digital event, and third party media campaigns. This role works directly with business unit and strategic marketing leadership, can be based in the US or Canada, and requires extensive, expert-level hands-on experience in enterprise digital media channel management including revenue-, lead-, and demand-generating campaigns in LinkedIn, Meta, Google Display, and YouTube. Expert-level understanding of how to use paid media to build and accelerate a B2B marketing sales funnel is required.
This role will lead a small team of digital marketing professionals and be a hands-on individual contributor, collaborating with multiple marketing teams around the world.
Key Responsibilities
Strategy & Planning- Define global paid media strategy in partnership with Digital and Growth Marketing leadership.
- Develop and implement plans to bring strategy to life across businesses, regions and channels.
- Respond quickly to industry and regional shifts, staying current with trends and best practices.

Campaign Execution & Optimization
- Drive implementation of customer-centric campaigns and standard optimization tasks.
- Maintain tight execution schedules for multiple simultaneous projects, providing status updates and managing risks.
- Passion for continuous optimization and reinvention of campaigns to improve results.

Analytics & Reporting
- Track critical metrics and budgets; maintain dashboards and pacing files.
- Leverage channel-specific dashboards to uncover insights and make data-driven recommendations.
- Collaborate with analytics teams to review and communicate performance metrics and strategic insights.

Collaboration & Communication
- Interact with business partners to understand goals and align strategies.
- Educate non-digital partners on emerging technologies and digital capabilities.
- Provide clear communication across cross-functional teams and agencies.
- Occasionally lead meetings with global team members during off-hours.
- Manage third-party media relationships, insertion orders, fulfillment, and invoice tracking.
Job Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, digital marketing, business, or related field.
- 10+ years in B2B digital marketing and media management, including 3+ years of people leadership.
- Advanced experience managing strategic clients and large budgets.
- Hands-on expertise with Google, LinkedIn, and Meta advertising tools; expert-level SEM with Google Ads.
- Experience in North American, European and Asian regional media channels.
Technical & Channel Expertise
- Paid and organic social, marketing automation, display, retargeting, PPC, SEO, and third-party advertising.
- Proficiency in tools: Google Analytics, PowerBI, Pardot, Salesforce, LinkedIn Campaign Manager, Google AdManager, Google TagManager, Conductor, Office365.
- Experience leveraging AI tools for content creation and optimization.

Compensation Data
The pay range for this position is $120K - $165K USD annually. Please note that salaries vary within the range based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, certifications, and location.
