Job Summary
The Director of Vending is responsible for developing and presenting strategies to drive sales growth, increase profitability, build pricing models, and introduce innovative solutions across the Pacific Division. This role involves planning, strategic direction, and evaluating analytics to support financial objectives. The Director sets strategy for teams across the Division and fosters strong relationships with clients and customers to deliver exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Well-versed in all aspects of vending machine service provider management, with a proven track record in strategic leadership.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to drive sales growth, enhance profitability, reduce V9, and introduce innovation within the Division.
- Analyze data and metrics to identify opportunities for improvement and ensure financial success.
- Interact professionally and proactively with associates, peers, suppliers, clients, and customers, demonstrating strong communication and customer service skills.
- Provide strategic guidance and support to teams across the Division, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Build plan-o-grams that incorporate Foodbuy compliance goals, growth incentives, national trends, third-party data, and client/customer requests.
- Experience with customer segmentation, market analysis, and trending data.
- Strong passion for new forms of vending technology and implementation.
- Analyze financial performance, including budget planning, P&L analysis, and reporting, to ensure branch and Divisional profitability.
- Establish and maintain effective client relationships to promote satisfaction and long-term partnerships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- Five years of experience in vending management or related strategic roles.
- Proven experience interacting with large, multisite operations.
- Strong background in P&L management and financial analysis.
- Experience with contract-managed services is preferred.
- Exceptional strategic thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Demonstrated ability to influence and set strategy across teams in a fast-paced environment.
