We are seeking a female support worker who has experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabiltiies and behaviors of concern. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to person-centered care, exceptional communication skills, flexible, and a willingness to learn and grow within a supportive environment. As a Support Worker at Nineveh Care, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by providing tailored support and fostering independence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Domestic Assistance: Perform tasks such as housework, laundry, and meal preparation to ensure a comfortable and well-maintained living environment for clients.
- Community Participation: Transport clients to shopping, medical appointments, social activities, and other community engagements as needed.
- Personal Care: Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and other daily living activities, respecting their dignity and preferences.
- Engage in Social activities: Work with the client to help them build independence, be their friend, and help them to engage in their hobbies.
Essential Criteria:
- NDIS Worker Check
- National Police Check (NPC)
- Working with Children Check
- First Aid + CPR Certificate
- Valid Working Rights in Australia
- Current Driver’s License and reliable, insured vehicle
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in the disability support sector

Job Type: Subcontract
Pay: $30.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 15 per week

Experience:
- NDIS: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence/Certification:

Willingness to travel:
- 75% (Preferred)
Work Location: On the road
