Dog Groomer

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Dog Groomer with minimum 1 year experience to join our team. This position will start as part-time (3 days/week) to eventually full time Monday-Friday

As a Dog Groomer, you will be responsible for providing high-quality grooming services to a variety of dogs, ensuring their comfort and well-being throughout the grooming process. This role requires a love for animals, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively with dogs owners.

Responsibilities

• Perform grooming services including bathing, brushing, trimming, and styling dogs according to breed standards and client preferences.
• Assess the condition of pets' coats and skin, identifying any issues that may require veterinary attention.
• Maintain a clean and organized grooming area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized and in good working condition.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about their dogs' needs and grooming options.
• Handle dogs safely and securely during grooming sessions.
• Assist with heavy lifting of larger dogs when required to ensure their safety during the grooming process.
• Stay updated on grooming trends and techniques to provide the best service possible.

Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience.
• Ponctual
• Strong customer service skills to effectively communicate with dog owners and address their concerns or requests.
• Experience in handling various breeds of dogs with knowledge of different grooming techniques.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as needed when handling larger animals or equipment.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality grooming results that meet client expectations.
• Patience and compassion for animals, creating a calm environment for both pets and their owners.
• Good time management skills to efficiently complete grooming appointments while maintaining quality service.
