About Furry Friends

Furry Friends Doggie Daycare is not your typical pet facility. Located in a charming 200-year-old heritage house in Burlington, we offer a cozy, home-like atmosphere that prioritizes the comfort of our dogs.

Our grooming salon is already fully booked Tuesday through Friday. We are now expanding to a Friday–Monday schedule and are looking for a dedicated groomer to join our team and help serve our growing waitlist.

The "One-on-One" Difference

We believe grooming should be a stress-free experience. Unlike high-volume salons, we only groom one dog at a time. * No Crating: Dogs aren't waiting in cages for hours.

• Quiet Environment: Especially on Sundays when the daycare is closed, you will enjoy a serene, private workspace in our beautiful heritage building.

The Opportunity

This role is perfect for a groomer in their first or second year who wants to build a business without the "hustle and bustle" of a corporate shop.

• Business Growth: You are welcome to bring your own clients or build your book of business right here.

The Schedule

• Saturday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (approximately 1-4 dogs)
• Sunday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (approximately 1-4 dogs)
• Monday: 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM (approximately 1-5 dogs)
• ***all based on bookings

What We’re Looking For

• Experience: 0–20years. Brand New or Industry Veteran-Apply!
• Quality over Quantity: Since we do one dog at a time, we value a groomer who takes pride in the "finishing" details.
• Gentle Hand: Ability to work patiently with dogs in a cage-free, one-on-one setting.

Requirements

• Completion of a recognized grooming program.
• Your own grooming tools (clippers, shears, etc.).
• A reliable, professional attitude suitable for a boutique environment.
