Domain Architect –Finance Transformation

The Finance Transformation domain plays a key role in this journey, creating a modern and integrated technology landscape built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 and the Power Platform.

As Domain Architect – Finance Transformation, you will design and lead the technology architecture for our global finance and order-to-cash (OTC) processes. You’ll shape how Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s financial systems connect to shipping operations, delivering scalable, secure and future-ready digital solutions.

This is a pivotal role in our digital transformation program. You’ll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, digital leads/product owners, and engineering teams to translate financial and operational needs into technical design, ensuring that our solutions align with enterprise standards and deliver measurable business value.

What You’ll Do

• Define and evolve the solution architecture for Finance and OTC within the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem.

• Translate business requirements into practical, scalable and secure technical designs.

• Lead integration design and data flows across Dynamics 365, Power Platform and Azure services such as Logic Apps, Service Bus and Event Grid.

• Provide architectural direction and guidance to developers and project teams during implementation.

• Ensure that all solutions meet governance, performance and regulatory standards.

• Collaborate across finance, commercial, and operations teams to enable a unified global platform supporting transparency and growth.

What You Bring

• Several years of experience as a Solution or Domain Architect, ideally within finance, logistics or global operations.

• Strong hands-on expertise in Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure integration technologies.

• Solid understanding of financial and OTC processes such as invoicing, billing, payments and reporting.

• Ability to balance strategic design with hands-on technical problem-solving.

• Strong communicator who can bridge business goals and technical solutions in a global context.

• Degree in IT, Engineering, or Finance (or equivalent experience). Microsoft certifications are an advantage.
