To achieve this, we are driving a large-scale digital transformation across all parts of our business. The Shipping domain plays a key role in this journey, connecting our global operations through modern, integrated technology built on the Microsoft Dynamics 365 platform.
As Domain Architect - Shipping Transformation, you will take a leading role in shaping the technology architecture that supports Wallenius Wilhelmsen’s global shipping operations. You’ll translate business needs across areas such as capacity planning, booking management and vessel operations into scalable, secure and future-ready digital solutions.
You’ll collaborate closely with business stakeholders, digital leads, and engineering teams to ensure that technology decisions align with enterprise architecture, support operational excellence and enable sustainable growth.
Key responsibilities
Define and maintain the solution and domain architecture for the Shipping area within the Dynamics 365 and Power Platform ecosystem.
Ensure that all solutions meet business objectives, technical standards, and security and compliance requirements.
Translate functional and operational needs into practical technical designs and roadmaps.
Guide and support developers and project teams through design and implementation.
Identify potential risks, performance challenges, or architectural gaps, and propose mitigation strategies.
Contribute to the overall enterprise architecture and digital transformation roadmap across the organization.
Your profile
5+ years’ experience as a Solution or Domain Architect, preferably within shipping, logistics, or complex operational environments.
Proven expertise with Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power Platform, and Azure integration services (Logic Apps, Service Bus, Event Grid).
Solid understanding of shipping and logistics processes such as capacity planning, booking management, and operational scheduling.
Strong collaboration and communication skills – able to connect business goals with technical execution.
Degree in Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
Experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation projects is highly valued.
