Driver - Independent Contractor, Jackson Mississippi (Own Vehicle Required)

Responsibilities

• Safely operate your own vehicle to complete assigned deliveries
• Pick up and deliver packages in a timely and professional manner
• Must provide proof of valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and active auto insurance.
• Load and unload packages or goods efficiently using appropriate manual handling techniques.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries.
• Navigate using GPS or route maps to ensure timely and accurate deliveries.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections to maintain safely and report any issues promptly.
• Manage delivery documentation accurately, including receipts and delivery confirmations.
• Maintain a clean organized vehicle to support efficient loading, unloading, and route execution

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Own reliable vehicle that meets company safety and capacity standards.
• Proven experience as a delivery driver or courier preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude.
• Physical ability to lift packages and perform delivery tasks as needed.
• Warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
